Distance Learning Update

Greetings,

Virtual Learning - It is our aim to ensure that avenues are taken as it pertains to quality assurance and ease of access. In keeping consistent with this mantra, it has been identified that the application of Licenses that Microsoft has made free during these troubling times will prove to be most effective in the delivery of distance learning. AACA will be assigning all of our students licensed autismacademy.org email addresses that enables all features of MS teams. The biggest advantage to full access is being able to see calendared meetings with links to join. We found that for many students appointments were being scheduled far in advance (by a variety of service providers) which was creating a large volume of emails for the parents, making it difficult to find the appropriate link to the corresponding meeting.

We will send a follow up email later in the week when the new accounts are ready for use. If a parent desires to have his or her own credentials, apart from their child…please use the form linked below to indicate your first and last name.

If you already have the TEAMS application running on your phone or computer simply sign out of the current account and login with the new credentials provided to you. For those of you who have not downloaded the TEAMS application go ahead and do so (via itunes, android marketplace, or pc/mac download link https://products.office.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app)

The format for your children will be their lastname@autismacademy.org and passwords will be emailed separately.
